Gara is a traditional form of hand dyeing fabric native to Sierra Leone. Unlike Wax prints, which have become popularised worldwide. With connections to West Africa they are majorly manufactured in Europe and China, Gara print fabrics, are still produced within the country.
Gara has a special uniqueness, as it's a handmade technique. No two pieces of Gara are exactly alike, allowing each piece to be special for the individual
